Episode 45: Bryan Got All the Recessive Genes

Cameron’s off to hobnob with Alan Wake in the lovely, cold, lifeless land of Washington, so entertaining the world is up to the remaining DV Cast.  Stephen and Bryan shoveled their way through the weekend like games were unwanted leaves on their lawn before finally settling on Metal Gear Solid, which they hate and love in fits and spurts. The parasitic horror of Metroid Fusion gets high marks despite hard bosses, followed by the robotic warmth of Machinarium and the bad puns of Ys. As if that wasn’t enough jam-packed fun, Zachary’s mind has been twisted by the world-bending effects of Tiny & Big: Grandfather’s Leftovers, Quantum Conundrum, and Gravity Rush; his newfound love for logic-defying feats of absurdity probably has something to do with buying a PSP Vita. Delectable Design singles out the sub-zero world of Phendrana Drifts from Metroid Prime, which manages to find even more bad puns beneath the glistening ice. There’s so much radness here, it’s almost hard to keep up! Disembodied Voices Episode 45: the only place to get a cyber razor cut.
